To strengthen our team in Duisburg, we are looking for a warehouse and logistics employee (f/m/x) to join us as soon as possible. The scope of responsibilities includes receiving, storing, picking, and providing materials and components on schedule. In addition, the position involves applying modern lean and logistics methods as well as actively contributing to process optimization.
Responsibilities:
Acceptance of goods with independent organization of proper storage
Picking of production orders and provision of components for service or customer orders
Processing of warehouse transactions in our ERP system
Monitoring the on-time picking of materials
Proper and needs-based packaging of transport goods while adhering to the highest quality standards, especially to avoid transport damage
Execution and support of inventory activities
Ensuring efficient and orderly warehouse space management
Active participation in the continuous improvement of logistics processes
Close collaboration with adjacent departments for smooth handling of material flows
Your profile:
Completed vocational training as a specialist in warehouse logistics (f/m/x) or a comparable qualification
Experience in order picking as well as handling components according to DIN/ISO standards, turned and milled parts, and electrotechnical components
Technical understanding and ideally the ability to read technical (including isometric) drawings
Valid crane operator's license and/or forklift license is an advantage
Good IT skills and experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP)
Confident handling of modern logistics and lean methods (e.g. Kaizen, CIP, 5S/5A, FIFO, Kanban, static and dynamic warehousing)
High quality awareness as well as consistent adherence to order and cleanliness in the workplace
Independent, structured, and careful working style combined with readiness to engage and teamwork skills
Good German language skills, both spoken and written
