Responsibilities:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Field Service Engineer to join our team in Mexico City, Mexico. In this role, you will provide technical support and maintenance services across the CDMX and Hidalgo zones, ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing equipment issues, performing repairs and preventive maintenance, and delivering exceptional service to our clients in the region.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools and technical expertise
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on field equipment to ensure optimal operational performance
Install, configure, and optimize equipment systems according to customer specifications and industry standards
Document all service activities, repairs, and maintenance work in the service management system with accuracy and detail
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests within the CDMX and Hidalgo service zones
Communicate technical findings and recommendations to customers in a clear and professional manner
Maintain compliance with safety protocols and company procedures during all field service activities
Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues and share knowledge with colleagues
Conduct equipment inspections and provide customers with detailed reports on system status and recommendations
Manage time efficiently to complete multiple service calls while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Your profile:
Proven experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical support roles
Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with hands-on equipment repair experience
Proficiency with service management software and mobile field service applications
Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems relevant to the equipment serviced
Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple service calls effectively
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with customers
Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining attention to detail
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within the CDMX and Hidalgo zones
Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements in field service environments
Preferred: Experience with preventive maintenance programs and system optimization
Preferred: Familiarity with advanced diagnostic equipment and specialized tools
Preferred: Bilingual capabilities (Spanish and English)
