Responsibilities:
We're looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Mexico City, Mexico, and drive sales growth across the North Zone. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with consultative selling to identify customer needs, demonstrate product solutions, and close deals. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex technical concepts into business value while building and maintaining strong long-term relationships.
Identify, prospect, and qualify leads within the assigned North Zone territory, utilizing a consultative approach to understand customer pain points and technical requirements
Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective and existing clients, clearly articulating features, benefits, and ROI
Develop and execute territory account plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the region
Collaborate with technical teams to provide customers with tailored solutions and ensure successful product implementation
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure, maintaining detailed records in the CRM system
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to support customer retention and upsell opportunities
Conduct needs assessments and provide technical recommendations that align with customer business objectives
Prepare accurate sales proposals, quotes, and technical documentation to support the sales process
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to generate leads and enhance market presence
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform sales strategy
Your profile:
3+ years of technical sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in a similar industry or product category
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quota attainment
Strong technical knowledge and ability to quickly learn complex product features and technical specifications
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools for pipeline management and forecasting
Demonstrated ability to conduct needs analysis and develop solution-based proposals
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a consultative selling approach
Territory or account management experience with responsibility for revenue growth
Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
Willingness to travel within the North Zone territory as needed
Preferred: Industry-specific technical certifications or advanced product knowledge
Preferred: Familiarity with the Mexico City market and regional business practices
