Responsibilities:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Guadalajara zone. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional on-site technical support and maintenance services to our valued customers throughout the region. As a Field Service Engineer, you will combine technical expertise with strong customer service skills to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations throughout the Guadalajara zone
Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment operates at peak performance
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests, prioritizing issues based on severity
Document all service activities, repairs, and customer interactions in detail using service management software
Provide clear technical explanations to customers and offer recommendations for equipment optimization
Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues and escalate problems when necessary
Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and submit timely reports on service completion
Travel efficiently within the assigned zone to meet scheduled appointments and service commitments
Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures during all field service activities
Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on equipment performance and customer needs
Your profile:
Proven experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical repair work
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to analyze complex technical problems
Proficiency in using service management software and mobile devices for documentation and reporting
Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple service calls efficiently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Guadalajara zone
Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in the field
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate service records
Bilingual capabilities in Spanish and English (preferred)
Knowledge of relevant industry equipment and systems (preferred)
Certification in equipment maintenance or technical service (preferred)
