Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Sales Professional to lead direct sales activities within assigned territories. This role requires strong technical acumen, commercial agility, and a proactive approach to pipeline development, customer engagement, and market expansion within the analytical instrumentation sector.
Direct sales of Anton Paar instruments to customers within designated territories to achieve and exceed the agreed sales budget.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding technical and commercial matters within assigned territories, coordinating internally with relevant departments to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Maintain and manage a robust project pipeline. The opportunity pipeline must remain continuously updated and include sufficient projects to meet established targets.
Generate new sales opportunities through various outbound channels (contacts, social media networking) and inbound channels (lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, sales leads provided by headquarters, etc.).
Maintain knowledge of competitors' strengths and weaknesses regarding products and competitive activities within the assigned territory.
Prepare and implement commercial action plans in specific target markets.
Participate in and collaborate on the organization of marketing and lead generation events such as seminars, webinars, conferences, and power weeks.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
Ensure proper maintenance and management of the CRM system for opportunity tracking.
Sell instruments in the fields of viscosity, refractive index, and polarimetry; atmospheric distillation, flash point, consistency, oxidation stability, and various properties of petroleum-derived and chemical products.
Your profile:
Academic background in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or Chemical Engineering.
Several years of experience in technical sales of analytical instruments is preferred. Experience in the sale of measurement instruments will be considered an advantage.
Good hands-on skills in handling measurement equipment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Availability to travel domestically and internationally.
Immediate availability.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
