In Production Planning - Joining Technology, you will play a versatile key role: planning manufacturing processes, designing fixtures, testing equipment and welding dummies, and supporting implementation through to series production. You will coordinate production orders, ensure availability, deadlines and smooth workflows, and support production control when needed. Ideal for technically skilled all-rounders with a strong process mindset.
Responsibilities:
Definition and optimization of manufacturing processes, taking deadlines, quality and cost targets into account
Interface between production, internal customers and specialist departments
Coordination of technical feasibility checks and preliminary cost calculations in the areas of welding, brazing, laser technology, metal 3D printing, forming and surface technology
Ensuring production-relevant data and series-ready manufacturing of critical component features
Design of fixtures, testing equipment, production aids and welding dummies
Scheduling and steering the designed operating equipment through production up to series launch
Creation of inspection plans as well as maintenance of work plans, bills of materials and data in SAP
Support in meeting deadlines, capacity management and, where required, deputizing for production control
Your profile:
Completed education/training in mechanics or production engineering, e.g. LAP & master craftsman qualification, HTL, university of applied sciences/university at bachelor's level
Completed REFA training is an advantage
Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
Experience in designing fixtures, testing equipment or production aids is an advantage
Proficient use of MS Office/Excel; SAP user knowledge, especially PP and MM, is an advantage
CAD experience; CREO is an advantage
Excellent German skills and good English skills
Strong understanding of interconnected processes, analytical thinking, cost awareness, a high degree of personal responsibility and team spirit
