Anton Paar Group is a global leader in precision measuring instruments for industry and research. We are seeking a visionary General Manager to lead our Sales and Service Subsidiary in Argentina. You will drive profitable growth, lead a high-performing team, oversee business operations, strengthen customer relationships, and execute the company's strategic objectives while ensuring operational excellence and long-term market success.
Responsibilities:
Leading the Sales and Service Subsidiary operations in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay from the, Buenos Aires office, overseeing a team of currently 26 employees
Developing and implementing comprehensive business strategies aligned with company objectives
Maintaining continuous communication and collaboration with the Americas Regional Director and the Global Headquarters
Implementing and monitoring relevant processes to ensure operational excellence
Identifying and capitalizing new market opportunities
Continuous improvement of sales and service activities
Planning and controlling annual sales and cost budgets
Providing strong leadership and fostering the professional development of the team
Ensuring compliance with company processes, policies, and regulations
Your profile:
Proven experience as a General Manager or Sales Director, preferably in the instrumentation/process industry
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or a related field. An additional degree in Economics is advantageous
Extensive experience in B2B sales management
Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and oral
In-depth understanding of sales and service management processes
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute result-oriented sales strategies
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Profound knowledge of the Argentinean market
