Anton Paar, one of the world leaders in laboratory instrumentation and services, has a new vacancy for a Field Service Engineer based in Perth (home-office). The Field Service Engineer will provide on-site support to customers in Western Australia carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs. The successful candidate will join a motivated, international team in a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Duties include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Anton Paar's Analytical measuring devices
Calibration and electronic adjustments
Evaluating malfunctioning instruments and preparing estimates for the cost of repair
Inventory management (car stock)
Completion of administrative tasks associated with field service actions
This role is home office based and the service work will be carried out on customer's sites
Your profile:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a field-based service role
Qualification in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Experience with laboratory or analytical instruments
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
Customer-facing experience with professional communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage service priorities
Valid unrestricted driver's license
Valid unlimited working rights in Australia
Willingness to travel locally and overseas for training including overnight stays
Ability to work independently and responsibly within a team
