As a Senior Software Developer & Software Architect (f/m/x), you will shape the software architecture of our innovative X-ray diffraction solutions while actively contributing to their development. In doing so, you will create the technical foundation for precise measurements and sophisticated material analysis. Working closely with interdisciplinary development teams, you will develop future-proof software solutions, implement key components yourself, and play a significant role in shaping their technological evolution.
Responsibilities:
Design and further development of scalable and maintainable software architectures
Active contribution to software development, including the design and implementation of sophisticated software components
Definition and enforcement of architectural principles, technical standards, and guidelines
Technical responsibility for architectural decisions throughout the entire software lifecycle
Selection and evaluation of suitable technologies, frameworks, and architectural concepts
Close collaboration with software developers, Product Owners, and other technical stakeholders
Conducting code and architecture reviews as well as identifying technical risks and opportunities for optimization
Ensuring software quality, performance, security, and long-term maintainability
Supporting development teams with complex technical challenges and sharing technical expertise
Your profile:
University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in software development as well as software design and/or software architecture
Strong knowledge of modern architectural concepts, design patterns, and software engineering principles
Strong hands-on programming skills, ideally in C#/.NET
Experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions
Experience with modern development processes, APIs, databases, and CI/CD
Strong commitment to quality as well as an analytical and solution-oriented approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong interest in developing technical solutions collaboratively
Very good written and spoken German and English
