Anton Paar develops, manufactures, and distributes high-precision laboratory and process measurement technology as well as customized automation and robotics solutions. Data from Finance, Sales, and Service provides an important basis for informed decision-making at Anton Paar. As a Data Engineer, you will shape our modern data platform based on Azure Databricks and ensure that data from systems such as SAP, CRM, and Salesforce is reliably integrated and prepared for analytics and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, operate, and continuously develop a modern data platform based on Azure Databricks
Develop, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services
Integrate, transform, and provide data from various operational source systems and third-party systems (including SAP, CRM, and Salesforce) for analytics, reporting, and data science applications
Implement and continuously improve measures related to Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Security while ensuring transparent and traceable data flows
Create and maintain technical documentation covering architecture, data flows, data models, and development standards
Your profile:
Completed education in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable field
3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a comparable field
Experience with Azure Databricks as well as the development of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
Very good SQL skills and practical experience with Python
Experience integrating and transforming data from various source systems, ideally SAP, CRM, or Salesforce
Good understanding of data models and business processes, particularly in the areas of Finance, Sales, and Service
Knowledge of Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Security
