Responsibilities:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Field Service Engineer to join our team . In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional on-site technical support and maintenance services to our valued customers throughout the region. As a Field Service Engineer, you will combine technical expertise with strong customer service skills to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations
Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment operates at peak performance
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests, prioritizing issues based on severity
Document all service activities, repairs, and customer interactions in detail using service management software
Provide clear technical explanations to customers and offer recommendations for equipment optimization
Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues and escalate problems when necessary
Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and submit timely reports on service completion
Travel efficiently within the assigned zone to meet scheduled appointments and service commitments
Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures during all field service activities
Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on equipment performance and customer needs
Taking responsibility for personal warehouse/stock.
Forwarding sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced.
Attending all necessary Anton Paar service trainings for the relevant product lines.
Substituting for other Field Service Engineers within the country.
Your profile:
Graduate in Engineering or equivalent.
One to Three years' experience in Hardware support or repair work.
One to Three years in customer facing role.
High technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Fluency in English.
Must maintain a current and valid driver's license.
