Responsibilities:
Provide support to the activities of the demonstration and applications laboratory, assisting in the preparation, operation, and organization of equipment from the ASC (Sample Preparation), FTIR (Infrared Spectroscopy), Raman, PC (Particle Characterization), and SP (Surface and Porosity) lines, ensuring the availability of instruments for demonstrations, tests, and loans to clients.
Responsibilities
Assist in performing demonstrative measurements on equipment from the ASC, FTIR, Raman, PC, and SP lines.
Prepare samples and necessary accessories for demonstrations, training, and technical evaluations
Support application specialists during on-site and remote demonstrations.
Record and organize measurement results as directed by the technical team.
Equipment Management for Demonstrations
Prepare, check, and package equipment intended for external demonstrations, loans, and client evaluations.
Ensure that all accessories, consumables, cables, manuals, and necessary items accompany the shipped equipment.
Execute and monitor the entire operational flow related to the shipment and return of equipment, using applicable corporate systems and tools.
Control the location, availability, and condition of demonstration equipment.
Administrative Processes and Systems
Use internal systems to open, track, and close processes related to equipment movement.
Update controls, records, and indicators related to laboratory activities and demonstrations.
Support inventories and audits of equipment under the laboratory's responsibility.
Laboratory Organization and Maintenance
Ensure the organization, cleanliness, and maintenance of the applications laboratory.
Guarantee that equipment is stored/installed properly and in suitable working order.
Assist in maintaining the laboratory infrastructure, identifying repair, calibration, or preventive maintenance needs.
Strictly follow internal safety, quality, and good laboratory practice procedures.
Your profile: Academic Background Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related fields.
Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Basic/intermediate English. Interest in analytical instrumentation and materials characterization. Basic knowledge in sample preparation will be a plus.
