Systems Engineer in Measurement System Development (f/m/x)
Our product development departments are creating the laboratory measurement instruments of tomorrow. The complex interaction of all components into a holistic measurement system is a key factor for success. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you design and test prototypes - from the initial concept to series production readiness.
Responsibilities:
Developing new measurement systems within the Anton Paar product development process, with overall technical responsibility within the multidisciplinary project team.
Deriving technical requirements from stakeholder needs and use cases
Developing the system architecture of measurement systems in coordination with domain architects
Supporting the development team in detailing and implementing the system design
Executing system verification tests and deriving necessary design adaptations
Performing requirements engineering for system requirements and associated tests (V-model)
Further development of the existing verification and validation test strategy
Your profile:
Completed technical or scientific education (Technical University, or equivalent)
Preferably several years of experience in architecture and system design for measurement technologies
Preferably willingness to spend several years abroad (1-3 years as an expatriate in GER, CH, or USA) at one of the Anton Paar Group's international subsidiaries following extended onboarding period at headquarters
Experience with system modeling and corresponding tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect) is an advantage
Knowledge of requirements engineering and verification testing is an advantage
Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary team
Very good command of German, spoken and written (C1/C2)
Very good command of English, spoken and written (C1/C2)
Willingness to travel: 10-20%

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade - adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is 3.500 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
