In this leadership role, you will take responsibility for our HR Operations function, including Payroll, HR Administration, and Travel Management. You will actively drive the continuous development of our processes and help shape the future of HR Operations in an international environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the HR Operations Business Area, consisting of a team of 10 employees, with overall responsibility for Payroll, HR Administration, and Travel Management
Ensure the accurate, high-quality, and timely payroll processing for approximately 1,700 employees at our Graz headquarters
Take responsibility for legally compliant and efficient time management processes and continuously improve, standardize, and digitalize them
Represent HR Operations as the functional lead in HR IT and digitalization projects
Drive the standardization, digitalization, and continuous optimization of HR Operations processes and the underlying HR systems
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and internal policies within your area of responsibility
Deliver a high level of service to employees and managers while providing solution-oriented support for complex HR-related issues
Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support management decision-making
Contribute as a member of the HR Leadership Team and participate in cross-functional HR project
Your profile:
Completed degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
Several years of professional and leadership experience in HR Operations, Payroll, or a comparable role
Solid hands-on experience in payroll administration, ideally within an international industrial company
Excellent knowledge of Austrian labor law, social security regulations, and payroll tax legislation
Experience implementing, enhancing, or optimizing HR systems and designing efficient digital HR processes
Strong service orientation with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences
High quality standards combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach and strong attention to detail
A proactive mindset with the drive and enthusiasm to continuously improve processes and systems
Excellent German language skills (C2) and very good command of English

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade - adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is 6.000 (based on full-time employment plus leadership allowance).
