You have experience in Translation Project Management and want to be part of the marketing team at Anton Paar, a world-leading manufacturer of precision measuring instruments. In this role, you will be responsible for managing international translation and localization projects, optimizing global translation processes, and implementing AI-supported technologies to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability. The role focuses on project management and translation technology rather than translating content yourself.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple international translation and localization projects, ensuring efficient, timely, and high-quality delivery
Continuously optimize the translation process by leveraging new technologies, automation, and AI-based tools to increase efficiency
Develop scalable global AI-supported translation and localization solutions to manage growing international complexity, including increasing numbers of languages, stakeholders, and translation volumes
Coordinate translators, reviewers, agencies, and internal stakeholders across international teams
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Management, Technical Documentation, and other functions to ensure smooth project execution
Manage terminology, glossaries, and translation memories to ensure quality and consistency across languages and projects
Administer and configure the current translation management software, incl. user management
Proactively identify process gaps and optimization opportunities and drive their implementation
Evaluate, test, and introduce new AI-supported translation and localization solutions
Define and monitor KPIs to continuously improve translation quality, turnaround time, automation rate, and cost efficiency
Define and maintain translation standards, workflows, and best practices across the global organization
Your profile:
University degree in translation studies, language technology, computational linguistics, AI, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience.1-3 years of relevant experience in translation, language technology, or localization project management
Hands-on, proactive personality with a solution-oriented mindset
Strong project management, coordination, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
Analytical and process-design skills with a passion for improving complex workflows
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional role, collaborating with internal stakeholders, agencies, and service providers
English and German at C1 level; additional languages are an advantage
Experience with TMS software, terminology management, translation memories, localization QA, and multilingual publishing processes including the implementation or development of AI-supported workflows
Practical experience with AI-supported translation technologies, Large Language Models (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), prompt engineering, and workflow automation
Knowledge of SCHEMA ST4, Adobe FrameMaker, and project management tools of advantage
Very good MS Office skills
Experience in coordinating international stakeholders, translation agencies, and external service providers.
