Anton Paar is a global leader in high-precision laboratory instrumentation and analytical measurement technology. Our solutions support customers in research, development, quality control, and production across industries including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, life science, academia, materials science, and advanced manufacturing.
We are now looking for a Service Technician to strengthen our service organization in Denmark.
This is a field-based position for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and working directly with customers. We are not necessarily looking for someone who already knows our instruments. What matters most is that you have a strong technical understanding, hands-on experience and the ability to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities: The Role
As a Service Technician, you will primarily be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and calibration of Anton Paar instruments at customer sites throughout Denmark.
Our equipment combines mechanics, electronics, sensors, software and precision measurement technology. The work therefore requires someone who is comfortable understanding complete technical systems rather than focusing on only one technical discipline.
You will work with customers ranging from industrial companies to pharmaceutical and food manufacturers, laboratories, universities and R&D organizations.

Your profile: Who We Are Looking For
Your exact technical background is less important than your technical ability, curiosity and approach to problem solving.
You may currently work as a service technician, field service engineer, maintenance technician, calibration technician or laboratory equipment technician.
However, your experience does not necessarily need to come from a traditional service role. You could also come from academia, a university, research institute or laboratory environment, where you have gained extensive hands-on experience working with sophisticated scientific or analytical instruments.
If you are the person in the lab who understands the instruments, investigates problems when something stops working and enjoys figuring out how technical systems work, your background could be very relevant for us.
We believe you have:
A strong general technical understanding
Hands-on experience with technically advanced equipment or instrumentation
The ability to systematically diagnose and solve technical problems
An understanding of mechanics, electronics/electrical systems or scientific instrumentation
Experience working with computers, software and connected equipment
A structured and careful way of working
Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
A valid driving licence
Good Danish and English skills
A technical or scientific education within electronics, mechatronics, automation, instrumentation, engineering, chemistry, physics or a related field is an advantage, but relevant practical experience can be equally valuable.
Experience We Particularly Value
Experience with precision or technically advanced equipment is especially relevant to us.
This could include experience from areas such as:
Laboratory or analytical instrumentation
University or research laboratories
Medical or diagnostic equipment
Pharmaceutical production or laboratory environments
Food and beverage laboratories or production
Measurement and calibration equipment
Automation and instrumentation
Precision manufacturing
Scientific or research equipment
Experience from regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, medical or food production is an advantage.
Heavy industrial experience is not required. We are particularly interested in people accustomed to working carefully with smaller, sophisticated and high-precision technical systems.
Training and Development
Previous experience with Anton Paar instruments is not required.
You will receive structured training on our instruments and service procedures. Most training takes place online and through practical, hands-on training together with experienced Anton Paar colleagues.
As your knowledge develops, you will gradually take responsibility for a broader range of instruments and service activities. Some specialized training may also take place at Anton Paar facilities, including occasional training at our headquarters in Graz, Austria.
What we offer: What We Offer
You will become part of Anton Paar's Nordic service organization, supporting customers throughout Denmark while working closely with colleagues across Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
We offer:
A technically varied field service position
Structured technical and product training
Support and knowledge sharing from experienced colleagues
Continuous professional development
Modern, high-quality instrumentation and technology
International support and expertise within the Anton Paar organization
Company car and the equipment required for the position
Competitive salary and benefits
The position is home-based, and we are looking for someone located in Western Denmark, providing good access to customers across Jutland and the rest of Denmark.
Travel within Denmark is a natural part of the position. Occasional international travel may also be required, either for training or to support Anton Paar colleagues in other countries when needed.
Apply today and become part of Anton Paar Nordic's continued success in Sweden.
Interviews will be held continuously, please apply as soon as possible.
